ELAINE BINDER BIOGRAPHY
Elaine Binder, affectionately known as Babe, was born and raised in Brookline, MA. During her childhood, she developed a deep passion for tennis, horseback riding, and bowling. However, her true calling was in the world of fine art.
From a young age, Elaine exhibited remarkable talent as an artist. She decided to pursue her passion for painting and made it her lifelong career. She proudly graduated from the Art Institute of Boston and further honed her skills at the Arts Students League in New York City.
In her early twenties, Elaine chose to make the vibrant city of New York her home. In 1952, she married Ralph Binder, and together, they raised their family in Orangeburg, NY. Elaine's dedication to art extended beyond her own work; she taught art classes at the Palisades Gardens in Palisades, NY, for over two decades. Her artistic creations graced the walls of various venues throughout Rockland County and New York City, leaving a lasting impact on the art world.
